Research Evidence
Research, Publications, and Presentations
The first published use of Phonation Resistance Training Exercises (PhoRTE®) was in an article of the ASHA Leader, the bimonthly newsmagazine for and about audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech, language and hearing scientists put out by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). In that same year, Phonation Resistance Training Exercises (PhoRTE®) as a voice therapy program was described in a chapter of a published book for speech-language pathologists.
