Description of the course: This dynamic, interactive course is designed for clinicians who have previously completed a PhoRTE® Introductory course and want deeper, mentored clinical experience. The Saturday afternoon Masterclass, features mentored, hands-on practice with expert faculty. This session is intentionally designed to address the real-world questions that matter most to PhoRTE®-approved providers: patient candidacy, clinical decision-making, troubleshooting common challenges, and long-term maintenance. Originally developed in response to clinician demand, the advanced course offers updates on the evolving science behind PhoRTE® voice therapy, along with valuable opportunities to engage in case-based discussion on clinical issues of importance in PhoRTE® voice therapy and opportunities for guided practice. Clinicians will leave with greater confidence, clinical clarity, and practical tools that can be used immediately in their clinical practice. Variable ASHA CEUs will be offered (0.5 ASHA CEUs, Intermediate, Professional)

Needs Assessment: In 2023, a survey was sent to all clinicians who have completed the PhoRTE® Introductory Course since 2018 requesting feedback regarding topics of interest and concern in their implementation of PhoRTE® Voice Therapy. The course was developed based specifically on the feedback and requested learning from the survey and also through conversations with those interested in PhoRTE® Voice Therapy at the ASHA Convention 2025 at the PhoRTE® Exhibit Hall Booth.

Pre-Attendance Requirements: Must have completed Introduction to PhoRTE® Voice Therapy, either in person, synchronously via Zoom, or asynchronously, since 2018
